AHX is a synthetic music format from Amiga, and reproducing C64-style musics. Maybe you knew it under it's previous name beginning with a T instead of A. It's an Abyss product.
AHX has been ported to Windows and Winamp, and therefore it was very easy to port it to Unix. The core being only C++ without system calls, it needs only some glue to adapt to specific players like xmms.
Recently, the AHX core source has been released, thus I don't need to do a binary distribution anymore. Cool ! :)
Due to some lack of time, there's only an xmms plugin yet. I wished to support alsaplayer, but I guess I'm too lazy :)
